We provide two online demonstrations to introduce the concepts of physical property estimation and chemical product design. These are demonstrations of the concepts not our software products. Demonstrations versions of our products can be downloaded from the Software Products page of this site.

Online Property Estimation

Very often chemists and engineers require the properties of new chemicals. Since experimental data is seldom available it is necessary to estimate these chemicals' properties. Group contribution techniques are one class of techniques which directly relate a chemical's molecular structure to its physical properties. The Online Property Estimation page enables you to enter a chemical's molecular structure and, using group contribution techniques, estimate a number of its physical properties.

If you are familiar with physical property estimation you may wish to download our Cranium Introduction Kit. Cranium is an advanced physical property estimation system capable of predicting over 20 physical properties.
